Welcome to Ewing Avenue Baptist Church! I hope this section of the most asked questions will help you find the information about becoming and being a new member at Ewing Avenue Baptist Church.
Call the church office at 214-942-4643 or email Pastor Craig at pastorcraig@ewingbaptist.org if I can answer any further questions you may have.
A: At the time of invitation or at the conclusion of the service please come forward and talk to one of our ministers about becoming a member of Ewing Avenue Baptist Church.
Membership at Ewing Avenue begins with accepting Christ as Your Personal Savior and Baptize by the Holy Spirit ... whether at a previous church or at Ewing Avenue. The rite of baptism is the heart of our church. It signifies obedience to Christ by following His example.
Q: I just became a member of the church. What do I do next?
A: If you have been baptized, you are ready for more involvement. If you have not been baptized, you should be contacted soon about setting a date for your baptism. If you have not been contacted, feel free to call the church office to set a date for baptism.
Q: How can I be more involved at Ewing Avenue Baptist Church?
A: Sunday morning services and Bible study on Wednesday nights offer a great starting point for being involved at EABC. The Worship Services (Sunday morning), Sunday School (Sunday morning), and Bible Study are the two most important things we do. We are a small church family and are very welcoming and eager to teach our new members. Sunday morning and Wednesday night bible study groups help you to connect with others like yourself.
Q: I have joined a Bible study class. Can I be involved in other areas
A: Yes! There are many ways to find meaningful involvement in the church. Right away, you can ask your Bible study teacher for ways to help them reach out to other class members. Do you like to sing or be involved in drama? Talk to Brother Jackson or Brother Robert about becoming a member of the choir or one of the musical productions. People are always needed in service areas such as ushers and greeters, as well as church fellowship committee. Contact one of our Deacon or staff members Pastor Craig and give us an idea of what you would like to do and where we may be able to plug you in.
